Just as I seem to be making sense of What is Emerging Church? someone posts on an answer to this continuing question that makes me feel like I should still be in nappies.

My sentiments entirely. I agreed with much that was said especially with the need for churchs to be "organic".
Churches don't grow these days based on relationships and evangelistic outreach, rather and sadly, based on denominational bias, manipulative leaders and current Christian fads.
Much can be learnt from listening to people from other backgrounds, as long as you are not compromising basic biblical truths and not being seduced by the ways of the world.
